Network Functions Virtualization (NFV)

Course Description

Virtualization is becoming a key concept in today’s networks. Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) technology enables the network functions to be run on the virtualized platforms and deployed in software, consolidating the infrastructure from many physical devices to a virtualized platform. This 1-3 days customized course will provide students with an opportunity to get a jump start on gaining hands-on experience and understanding of NFV technology, deployment and provisioning services. Students will be exposed to multi-vendor NFV products such as Cisco Network Control System (NCS), Cisco CSR1000v and Brocade Vyatta 5400 vRouter.
