Cisco SDA Workshop

Course Description

Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA) is a complete software- based network automation and assurance solution, it is a central part of the Cisco Digital Network Architecture solution. Cisco SDA is a major shift in how we design, deploy and manage networks, it greatly reduces the Operating Expenditures (OpEx) and risk while creating an agile infrastructure. Cisco SDA solution provides policy-based automation with secure segmentation through a Single-pane-of-glass with Cisco DNA Center, drastically simplifying and scaling operations while providing complete visibility, fast and easy service enablement.

This 1-3 days customized course will provide students with an opportunity to get a jump start on gaining hands-on experience and understanding of SDA technology, deployment and provisioning services. Students will be exposed to SDA components, design principals, configurations and troubleshooting of SDA components.

Prerequisites

  • Strong Networking concepts
  • Knowledge of Routing protocols, such as BGP, OSPF, ISIS
  • Familiarity of Cisco Wireless and Security architectures
  • Basic knowledge of Cisco ISE and TrustSec deployment options
  • ISE and Trustsec (if there is ISE integration)

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, trainees should be able to understand:

  • The fundamentals of Cisco SDA, that includes the Cisco DNAC dashboard
  • How to provision the network devices and bring up SDA fabric
  • The LAN automation and manual configuration of underlay fabric
  • The Wireless Fabric and Non-Fabric Mode
  • The SDA Assurance Telemetry
